Season Breakdown

Each week, DWTS repeatedly broke its own weekly voting records. During the finale, 72 million votes were casted which is more than double the votes received during the second-highest voted finale. Alix's fanbase largely contributed to these numbers, as well as several influential contestants like Robert Irwin, Whitney Leavitt, Dylan Efron, and Andy Richter. Across the entire season, approximately half a billion total votes were casted.
