Official D&D Sites
- Dungeons & Dragons: The official Dungeons & Dragons website has links to every product and resource a D&D player could need! Since D&D 5e is the current edition, you'll easily find any and all 5e content here.
- D&D Beyond: Now that D&D Beyond is officially owned by Wizards of the Coast, you can get digital access to any source book. Additionally, D&D Beyond allows users to publicly share homebrew, run campaigns and combat, and submit feedback on One D&D playtest materials (see Editions).
- Wizards of the Coast: As the official publisher and owner of D&D, the Wizards of the Coast site is a great place to learn all about D&D releases from the top.
Other Helpful Sites
- D&D 5e Wikidot: As a player, this is probably the site I've used the most. The D&D 5e Wikidot has all of the information you need to build a character. The site includes different versions of races, classes, spells, weapons, items, armor, and more. The only downside is it sometimes takes time to update the site when a new source book is released.
- D&D Wiki: If you ever have any questions about D&D lore, monsters, gods, or more, the D&D Wiki is a great place to check. Each wiki page features art across editions and recounts the history of that entry.
- Chicken Dinner: This nifty site makes it really easy to set up your characters stats during character creation. Specifically, this site helps you define your stats using point buy under 5e rules.
- Anyflip or PDFs: If you ever want to look inside a D&D source book but you aren't sure if you want to buy it yet, then Anyflip and PDFs are your friends. Simply search for the name of the book followed by “anyflip” or “pdf.” More often than not, you'll find a free version you can temporarily use before you decide to purchase the book yourself!
